Epithalon (Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide — Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly — derived from Epithalamin, a natural polypeptide extracted from the pineal gland. Developed by Russian researcher Vladimir Khavinson, Epithalon has been the subject of decades of research examining its effects on telomere biology, cellular aging mechanisms, and neuroendocrine regulation.
